Apprentice Teep
by papaganoush (7) on April 24th, 2007
Apprentice Teep is a very popular 1 drop ally. With the Elusive keyword she can not be attacked and with 2 Attack she can be very effective in a rush or weenie rush deck. Her only drawback is that she has only 1 Health so she is suseptable to many of the deal 1 damage to all allies effects.
In the list of 1 resource allies Apprentice Teep is very high on the list. She would only fall behind Bloodclaw, a hunter only pet in my deck lists. However as the game introduces more ways to deal one damage to multiple targets you might see this gnome mage might see a reduction in use.
One interesting use for Apprentice Teep is in warrior rush decks. With a Commanding Shout and Battle Shout on the board this 1 resource ally is now at 3 Attack and 2 Health. If you have all your shout cards on the table you have a powerful 6 Attack and 5 Health ally - but this is not seen very often. Teep can also be used to buff for Kailis Truearc and Tracker Gallen for cheap.
Late game is where Apprentice Teep loses her effectiveness and starts to be used as a resource to pay for more powerful late game effects but if you play her correctly your opponent will not make it to late game anyway.
