Wraithfall

by jason (0) on February 11th, 2006

I am a pretty big fan of the show. It's like my diet Battlestar Galactica fix. Hilarity ensues amidst peril, and the references to Star Trek are golden.

You can tell right away that the people working on this comic are also big fans of the show. Being a preview, the story doesn't resolve, but it does whet my appetite for more.

The artwork is very well done. Mauricio Melo does an excellent job of capturing each character's likeness. There are 6 pages of story, 3 character sketch pages, a 2 page intro from writer Stuart Moore, 3 pages of layout roughs, and 2 cover previews.

I am looking forward to the the new series that is slated to debut in July with the three-part series "Wraithfall," but it's too bad the story takes place before Ronan Dex joins the crew, he kicks butt.
